Northampton's Union Station was designed by the noted architect Richardson and built in 1896.  It was the hub of great excitement, expectation and adventure for many travelers and their families. The 1950's brought a slow decline to the thundering roar of trains.  Union Station was gradually losing out to the automobile, bus and airplane.

The original train station and restaurant space has been converted into The Grand Ballroom at Union Station, the Pleasant Valley’s newest and most elegant wedding and banquet facility.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the elegance of the train station, both past and present; perhaps you will spot Mr. Richardson himself or other excited and weary travelers who once graced the station with their presence here in this realm.
